OUTCOME
Accelerated AR development across Disney Parks while ensuring IP compliance and reducing rework.
FEATURES
Centralized UX Interaction Standards, Cross-Team Alignment Documentation, Reusable AR Interaction Patterns
AR lenses were being developed across multiple teams, franchises, and vendors, leading to inconsistent UI patterns, unclear interaction behaviors, and increased development time. Without a unified system, experiences varied in quality and made it harder for users to understand how to interact within each lens.
A Senior Product Designer and I created a centralized AR Lens Design System that defines how UI, interactions, and behaviors should function across all PhotoPass lenses. The system establishes consistent patterns for layout, controls, gestures, and feedback, enabling teams to design and build cohesive experiences while reducing ambiguity in both design and engineering.

The Disney PhotoPass Lenses Style Guide is a scalable system that standardizes camera interfaces, interaction patterns, and UI components for AR experiences across Disney Parks, ensuring consistency across franchises and platforms.
